  • You must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or National Certificate in Education (NCE) from an accredited institution in Nigeria or abroad.
  • You must have completed your academic program within the stipulated time frame and obtained the required number of credits.
  • You must have a valid admission letter from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) or a direct entry letter from the institution where you graduated.
  • You must have a valid student identification card from your institution.
  • You must have a personal email address and phone number for registration and communication purposes.

Disqualification Criteria

You are not qualified to participate in the NYSC program if you fall into any of the following categories:

  • You are above 30 years of age at the time of graduation or mobilization.
  • You have participated in the NYSC program before, either fully or partially.
  • You have been convicted of a criminal offense and sentenced to imprisonment for more than six months.
  • You are a member of any paramilitary or security organization, such as the Nigerian Police Force, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Air Force, Department of State Services, etc.
  • You are a staff or employee of any government agency, parastatal, corporation, or private organization that is exempted from the NYSC program by law or policy.
  • You are physically or mentally unfit to undergo the rigors of the NYSC program, as certified by a medical doctor.
