The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a mandatory one-year service program for all Nigerian graduates under the age of 30. An NYSC relocation letter is a formal document issued by NYSC to corps members who have been approved for relocation. This letter serves as official confirmation of the corps member’s new state of deployment.
How to Check Your NYSC Relocation Status Online
To check your NYSC relocation status online, follow these steps:
- Visit the NYSC portal at https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/
- Enter your registered email address and password to log in to your NYSC dashboard.
- On the portal, scroll down and click on the “Relocation” link.
- Your relocation application status will be displayed on the screen. If your relocation request has not been approved, you will see a “Pending” notification. If it has been approved, you will see “Congratulations! Your application has been approved.”
How to Print Your NYSC Relocation Letter Online
Once your request for NYSC relocation has been approved, you can print your NYSC relocation letter online. Here’s how:
- Visit the NYSC portal at https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/
- Enter your email address and password to login your NYSC dashboard.
- Scroll down to find the “Relocation” link on the portal.
- Click on the “Print Relocation Letter” button.
- Make sure to print the letter in color.
- After printing, go and submit the letter to the appropriate NYSC office along with any other required documents, especially your NYSC green card and NYSC call-up letter.
Note: To print your NYSC relocation letter, you will be required to pay a fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000).
